Custom Article Bags, etc.

Are you looking for a utility scent article bag for obedience?  Something different and unique?  Then please read on.

I have been sewing since childhood, first learning to piece patchwork and then making clothes. I have always enjoyed the needlearts, learning to knit and crochet as a teenager. I feel blessed to have been able to make wedding gowns for all three of my daughters-in-law, and lots of little girl dresses for my first two granddaughters.

I made many crib quilts by hand in the 70′s when my boys were young, and as quilt-making made it’s comeback in the past couple of decades, I went back to quilting, but this time by machine. Recently, as I have become engrossed in competing with my white shepherd, Wynnter, I found a new outlet for my sewing. I have made embroidered tote bags as judges’ gifts for our club shows, and a couple of pictorial dog quilts for my friends. When I ordered my obedience scent articles for Wynnter, I also ordered an article bag to keep them in. When I received the bag, my trainer noted a couple of flaws in the design. I thought I could probably make my own bag, and so I did, using Kathy’s suggestions.

If you would be interested in a bag for your scent articles, or a custom tote bag, please send an email to info@wyndsong.net and we can talk about it. At this time, an embroidered or machine-appliqued article bag is $65.00. I can create a simple picture of your breed for the ends. If you desire a zippered pocket at each end, that is also an option, as is mesh on the end pocket instead of a picture.  A 13″ x 10″ quilted tote bag is $35.00. Shipping is extra.
