Puppies
A New Generation
On July 16, 2008, Wynnter whelped her first litter of puppies, five boys and two girls. This was a magical experience and Wynnter proved to be an excellent mother.
The sire of this litter is RBIMBS UKC Gr Ch Starr Hallmark Hemi Supercharger, HICs, CGC, TDI, OFA (H/E/C/Th), PennHIP from Hallmark Shepherds and bred by Keslie Joyce of Starr Shepherds, who has been the favorite dog of my granddaughter, Taylor, since the day they met.
We feel that Hemi is a perfect complement to Wynnter and that the puppies will adhere to the Breed Standard of the United Kennel Club and the American White Shepherd Association.
Both Hemi and Wynnter are UKC Grand Champions. Both have herding instinct, something that is very important to me, because this is the purpose for which the breed was designed. Both are willing performance partners, and love to work.
Wynnter is bright white with very dark pigment, which gives her the stunning look that I love in a white shepherd. Hemi has a decidedly masculine head with a lovely earset and bronze tipping on his guard hair. This makes his mane a very prominent feature.
The puppies were exposed to Early Neurological Stimulation. They were checked by a reproduction specialist and found to be healthy and strong. They were evaluated at seven weeks for conformation and herding instinct before they went to their new homes.
This litter was registered with the American Kennel Club, the United Kennel Club, and the American White Shepherd Association. All of the puppies have gone to their new homes and are being spoiled by their new owners. I have had more than one tell me that their puppy is already learning basic obedience commands. I could not be happier with the people who found and chose a Wyndsong puppy, and I look forward to hearing everything about this generation of Wyndsong as they grow.
