Wyndsong Dreamweaver Phoenix
“Phoenix” was the blue collar puppy; Wynnter’s firstborn. The morning of July 16, 2008, I took Wynnter’s temperature. It had dropped, but hadn’t started raising again, so I left for work and returned an hour later. Sure enough, there was a puppy. Wynnter had cleaned him up, and was laying on the bed watching him whimper. As I came through the door, she jumped up as if to say “Look what I did!!” He was just over a pound; a beautiful little boy.
Phoenix is a handsome boy. He looks the most like Wynnter. He is independent. His evaluation with the sheep was wonderful. He saw them and was immediately drawn. He followed them calmly and purposefully. He would make a wonderful herding dog.
On September 28, 2008, Phoenix left his remaining littermates to live with Ed in Lorain. I talked to Ed a couple of weeks later, and he said that Phoenix is doing well in his training. Two guys living the bachelor life together.
