Wyndsong Blowin’ in the Wynd

“Scoop” was the red collar boy and second born.  He was the smallest of the puppies, but immediately the most active.  His pigment came in first and is very dark.  He also looked exactly like his sire, Hemi.  His ears stood at three weeks!  And then they grew and fell down.

Scoop would make an awesome obedience dog.  When we went to the herding evaluation, Scoop showed some interest in the sheep, but more connection with me.  Kelly said he was heeling and to reinforce that!  Amazing!!

On October 1, 2008, Scoop went to live with Mary and Glenn.  They have been busy teaching him basic obedience.  He is a quick learner!

Since his new family was scheduled to take a vacation in October, Scoop came back to spend a few days with us.  I took him to my herding lesson, and he did as well as Wynnter at his age.  We spent some time at the park working on his recall.

We had a great weekend with my little man.  His face is looking a little more like Wynnter now.  Wynnter was delighted at having him back to play with.
